Adjusting the handbrake of the Mazda CX 7 independently is a rather simple and quick operation. To perform the operation, we need to open the central compartment to remove the cover and access the wires and the brake adjustment screw.

Using a socket wrench, we adjust the handbrake. Once we reach the desired hardness level, we test the handbrake to see if it is still too weak.

If so, we continue tightening the nut. If the handbrake continues to malfunction, it is necessary to go to the workshop to check the power steering and the gearbox shaft.
