Replacing the Gear Knob on Mazda 3 Automatic

Today's instructions will guide you in removing and replacing the gear knob of the automatic gear lever on the Mazda 3. First, get inside the cabin and start by detaching the plastic cover located at the base of the centre console. Then, disconnect the wiring found underneath and remove the gear gaiter along with the knob (separating the two components), as shown in the video. At this point, install the new gear knob, refitting the gaiter and securing it properly onto the lever; finally, refit the plastic cover of the centre console!
