Replacement of the Engine Air Filter

Model: Mazda 3 BK, MK 1 - Years 2003-2009
Part: Air filter

Open the bonnet and locate the filter housing in the air box on the right side of the engine. Release the springs attached to the cover by lifting them upwards, then carefully remove the housing by lifting it upwards and disconnecting it from the support. Slide out the old filter and insert a new one. Before inserting the new filter, clean the inside of any dust deposits. Carefully close the air box, ensuring it fits perfectly with the cover. Reposition it accurately and ensure the springs are securely engaged. Start the engine and check for proper operation.
