How to replace spark plugs on the Mazda MX5 NC

Model: Mazda Mx 5 MK 3, NC - Years 2005-2015

Before starting it will be necessary to lift the hood, giving us the possibility to work on the engine. Once this is done, we will start by disconnecting the plugs from the 4 spark plug hoses. Then we will go to unscrew the 8 mm bolts that fix the pipettes, then being able to extract them from their seat. With a 16mm spark plug wrench we are going to unscrew the spark plugs from the head. Once all 4 spark plugs have been removed, before going to install the new spark plugs, we apply a putty on the threads of them, so that the compression of the cylinders is not compromised. After having applied the mastic, we will be able to insert the new candles in their seat, and go and screw them with the same 16 mm wrench we previously used, carrying out this process for all 4 candles. When we have finished installing the new spark plugs, we will only have to insert and fix the pipettes and then connect the plugs, and we will be finished.
