In this tutorial we can see how to disassemble the passenger seat in the Mazda MX-5, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, make sure that the key is not inserted, then open the hood and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, in order to avoid accidental activation of the airbags.

Next, open the driver's door, move the seat all the way forward and unscrew the two rear bolts of the brackets with a 14mm socket wrench. At this point, all that remains is to move the seat back, unscrew the two front bolts, disconnect the large connector indicated and remove the seat from the cabin.
