How to Replace the Steering Wheel on the Mazda MX-5?

To remove the steering wheel from the Mazda MX-5, first disconnect the battery to prevent the airbag from deploying. Next, unscrew the four 10 mm nuts located behind the steering wheel, and detach the airbag by disconnecting its connector. Then, unscrew the central 21 mm nut that secures the steering wheel to the column: once this nut is removed, you can pull off the old steering wheel. After the old steering wheel has been removed, install the new steering wheel and secure it by reversing all the previous steps.
