How to Replace the Remote Battery on a Mazda CX-5

In this video, we will see how to replace the battery in the remote of the Mazda CX-5; this also applies to other contemporary models from the same manufacturer, as they share the same type of key. Start by prying off the cover with a sharp object (the one hiding the metal key, useful for emergency starts or if the keyless remote runs out of battery). Then, press on the edge of the metal frame to release it from its housing and open the other part of the remote; under this cover lies the battery compartment; remove the plastic cap and replace the battery. The battery to use is a 3V CR 2032.
