Removing the car stereo is not difficult; it just requires a bit of patience and a screwdriver, as shown in the following guide. The screwdriver can be extremely useful to help pry the dashboard when extracting the stereo.

However, regardless of the tool used, take great care to avoid scratching the plastic trim. Apply pressure with the screwdriver and gently pull the tray forward.

You can then proceed to remove the unit from the compartment, being careful of the connection cables and the extraction of the stereo.
