Removing the radio from the Mazda MX-5 is a task that can be fully accomplished independently, as the only tools needed are a screwdriver and a plastic lever. Start by unclipping the lower part of the central dashboard with the plastic lever to access the screws near the gear lever.

After removing the lower part, proceed to remove the side part in the same way, detaching the components. Using the screwdriver, unscrew the lower and side screws of the radio to remove it. Gently pull out the radio as it is connected to a connector that must be disconnected.
