To install a new aftermarket car radio, you must first remove the factory radio. Start by removing the plastic cover of the reinforcement plate located under the steering column, near the knees; then remove this plate and the side plastic covers that conceal the centre console.

Next, unscrew the screws securing the centre console, which includes the radio and climate control buttons; pull the console forward, disconnecting the connectors to place it on a workbench. Separate the climate control buttons and attach them to the fitting panel to secure the new radio.
