If the rear lights of your Mazda MX-5 suddenly stop working and the bulbs are in good condition, check the status of the respective fuse, which is indicated in this video. As shown, the fuse is located in the box inside the cabin, specifically in the lower area of the dashboard on the driver's side.

It is labelled with the letter "I" and is rated at 15A. If faulty, ensure you replace it with a spare of the same specifications and operate with the vehicle switched off, otherwise you may damage the connected devices.
