To reset the oil life on a Mazda 6, start by turning on the ignition and the engine. Using the central dial, turn it to the left until you reach "applications" and press the dial to confirm.

Turn the dial to the right until you reach "vehicle status monitor" and press the dial to confirm. Continue turning to the right until you reach "maintenance", then select "oil change" and navigate to "reset". Press the dial to confirm, then go back to "reset" and press the dial again.

You will notice that the kilometres next to "oil change" will change automatically. Finally, you can return to the main screen.
