The timing belt is one of the most important components within the engine of our cars. This guide shows how to replace it once you have acquired a new one. This part should be replaced every approximately 50,000 miles to avoid unpleasant surprises or potential failures at inconvenient times.

The timing belt is located on the right side of the engine, so lift the car, remove a wheel, and start disassembling the components you encounter. It is very important to have the right tools and prepare a numbered diagram to help recognise the parts during reassembly.
