This video shows how to replace the timing chain on a Mazda CX-7. It should be replaced approximately every 62,000 miles. First, disconnect the battery cables, remove the radiator cap, open the coolant drain valve, and disconnect the hoses from the radiator. Next, remove the screws securing the timing chain, take off the water pump heating hoses, then remove the water pump, the crankshaft pulley, and finally extract the timing chain. Proceed with the replacement of the chain and reassemble all the removed components.
