Over time and with use, the battery of the remote control that opens the doors of the Mazda CX5 runs out and we have to replace it with a new one. We extract the emergency key and with a small screwdriver we lever on the edge of the shell to open it. We thus have access to the battery compartment cover, once removed we can remove the old exhausted battery. We replace it with a new CR2025, being careful to position it with the positive pole upwards. We put back the cover and insert the shell by snapping the clips, and finally we insert the emergency key into its housing.
