When the service light on the instrument cluster of your second-generation Mazda CX5 (2018) stays illuminated, do not worry as it indicates that a service is due for the vehicle. If it remains on after performing the service, you need to reset it manually by following this procedure.

First, start both the ignition and the infotainment system, then press the menu button and select the "Applications" icon. At this point, click on "Vehicle status monitor" and then on "Maintenance". Finally, select "Scheduled" and press "Reset" to complete the reset of the light.
