Replace the Door Lock on the Mazda 6

To replace the door lock on the Mazda 6, proceed as follows: 1) Disconnect the battery. 2) Remove the entire door panel, taking care not to damage the electrical connections and plastic clips. 3) After removing the door panel, detach the linkage connecting the handle to the door lock. 4) Unscrew the bolts securing the lock to the door, ensuring not to damage the paint around it. 5) Reverse the process for reinstallation, checking for proper operation and that no warning lights are illuminated.
