How to Remove a Door Handle on a Mazda 6

In this guide, you will see how simple it is to remove the external handle on a Mazda 6 door. To start, take a plastic spatula and remove the switch panel from the door trim. Unscrew the screws on the trim panel with a screwdriver, then detach the internal opening handle. Unscrew the screws of the handle and all those around the perimeter of the trim. After that, remove the panel and disconnect the cables, along with the window motor and the trim beneath the door. Once you reach this point, remove the handle from the inside of the door while holding the external handle with your left hand. With the panel removed, all that remains is to take off the door opening handle and fit the new one. Reassemble the parts in reverse order to how they were disassembled.
