Model: Mazda 6 GG, MK 1 - Years 2002-2008
Part: Grille

Do you want to replace the front bumper of a Mazda 6? Let's see how to proceed. Lift the bonnet and secure it. Using a plastic spatula or screwdriver, detach the rivets securing the bumper at the top as shown in the video. Once this is done, unscrew the bolts of the lower splash guard using a socket wrench. Remove the rivets with the screwdriver located on the wheel splash guards and finally remove the bolts at the bottom of the bumper. Pull the bumper away from the body of the vehicle. Now, remove the grille from the inside of the bumper and fit the new piece. To proceed with the assembly, secure the bumper as shown in the video and tighten all screws and rivets around the splash guard and its perimeter.

Locate the inspection cap (if present) on the headlight and remove it (located at the rear of the headlight). At this point, you will find the bulbs with metal clips; pull the bulb holders out of the headlight and extract the damaged bulb using a screwdriver and pliers. Fit the new bulb (ensuring it is the correct type and size), insert the bulb holder back into the headlight housing, and close the headlight with the inspection cap.
