Setting the Time on a Mercedes

When power is lost for an extended period on the Mercedes E-Class, the clock on the dashboard stops. Once power is restored, you need to set the correct time.

While seated in the driver's seat and with the ignition off, use the controls and display on the center console. Press the "service" button, then the button corresponding to the "clock" option.

Turn the key to the "on" position to power up the instrument cluster. Use the arrow buttons to set the correct time, confirm with "ok," and you will see the clock hands move to the set time.
