The replacement of the service belt and the two return pulleys requires some patience and a screwdriver with a flexible extension to access a clamp for fixing a vapor recovery hose; having said this, it is necessary to start by removing the intake air conveyor and then disconnect the hoses from the exchanger which is located right in front of the service belt, and then unscrew the fixing screws of the exchanger itself to be able to move it without removing it; at this point loosen the tensioner and insert a fixing pin to keep it in position, extract the old belt, replace the pulleys, insert the new belt and release the tensioner and then reassemble what was previously removed.

In order to replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS it is necessary to loosen the bolts that secure the casing positioned on the left side of the bike, so that its cover can be removed. Once this has been removed, you will be able to access the components below, including the battery. The latter must be removed from its housing by disconnecting the power cables and unscrewing the appropriate fixing bolts. In this way it will be possible to insert a new battery, properly fixing it and connecting it to the relative cables, covering everything with the casing.
