In this video, see how the tire pressure monitoring system works on the Mercedes E-Class W211: on the wheel, there is an aluminum sleeve with a nut at the base. That is the pressure sensor (TPMS). When measuring the pressure, it is advisable to use a plastic cap, as metal ones can damage the sensor.

Tire pressure information is located on the driver's door jamb and indicates the pressure for the front and rear tires. On the display, access the information using the menu button located on the lower right side of the steering wheel; then, by pressing the +/– buttons on the left control panel, you will view the values for the four tires (they can be displayed in PSI or Bar). If you see readings in white, it means there are no stored values.

To reset the values, with the engine off and the ignition on, scroll the menu button to the miles (or km) per hour, and then use the up/down arrow buttons to view and reset the tire pressure screen. Now, use the reset button located on the left side of the instrument cluster, after which it will be sufficient to drive for about twenty minutes for the vehicle to store the new pressures.
