The tire monitoring system on the Mercedes E-Class W211 version.

In this video we see how the tire pressure monitoring system works on the Mercedes Class and version W211: on the rim we see a aluminum stem with a nut on the base. That is the pressure sensor (TPMS). When measuring the pressure, it is advisable to use a plastic cap, because metal ones can damage the sensor. The tire pressure information is located on the driver's door thickness and indicate the pressure of the front and rear wheels. On the display, we will recall the information using the menu button located on the bottom right of the steering wheel; then by pressing the +/- buttons on the left keypad, we will display the values of the four tires (they can be displayed in Bar or PSI). If we see readings in white, it means that there are no values ??stored. To reset the values, with the engine off and the key inserted, we slide the menu button to the miles (or km) per hour, and then use the arrow keys up/down to display and reset the tire pressure screen. We will now use the reset button located on the left side of the instrument panel, after which it will be sufficient to drive for about twenty minutes to have the car memorize the new pressures.
