Where is the VIN number located on the Mercedes Vito?

In this video we can see where the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) of the Mercedes Vito/Viano is located. It is located in the partition between the engine compartment and the cabin, visible from the engine side, just below the windshield drip rail. We remind you that this is the only legal chassis number, the one actually stamped on the frame. What we see on the plate at the bottom of the windshield, driver's side, is a courtesy plate that is used to move the vehicle until it is registered.
