In this video we will see where the legal chassis number, that is the one punched, is located on the frame of the 2011 Mercedes Vito. We are talking about the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number), which can be requested for a cross-check by the Traffic Police. We need to lift the hood of the vehicle, and remove the central part of the plastic cover that finishes the lower edge of the windshield. Under this cover, we will find our number, composed of 17 alphanumeric digits. This number is also repeated on the courtesy plate located on the left side of the windshield, and on the plate - usually metal. That shows the vehicle's data and also the interior and exterior colors of the vehicle, and is located on the driver's door; as well as of course on the registration booklet, section 2 letter E).
