To replace the water pump on a Mercedes C-Class model W202, first open the hood. Then, using a 10 mm wrench, loosen the four bolts on the pulley and remove it. Next, remove the radiator cap, marked in red, and drain the fluid inside before replacing the cap. Unscrew the bolts on the pump housing to remove it, clean the housing, and install the new pump after lubricating it. Tighten the bolts and reattach the pulley.

Fill the radiator with fluid and close the hood.
