How to open the front hood of the Mercedes E-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe E W212 - Years 2009-2016

Today we will explain how to open the front hood of the 2011 Mercedes E-Class. To perform this operation, we need to get into the vehicle and sit in the front seat on the driver's side. We lift the red lever, located under the steering wheel, to raise the hood. After lifting the hood, we insert our hand inside the hood to move the internal lever to the right. We open the hood and lock the opening with the locking rod. To close the front hood, we must let it fall on itself after removing the rod. The hood can only be opened on a vehicle with unlocked closure.
