How to replace the auxiliary battery of the C-Class W205? Let's see it in this video: we start by disconnecting the 12V battery, which is located under the rear trunk floor. The auxiliary battery is instead inside the car, under the glove compartment; we must therefore remove the mat, remove two screws at the bottom of the compartment, and then remove the clips that are there and must be removed carefully; disconnect the internal temperature sensor, and the foot light connector. We must remove the side sill, lifting it and sliding it out; lift the carpet towards the seat, holding it as still as possible: remove the plastic panel, which is anchored at three points, being careful not to let the bolts fall inside. Remove the cover, being careful not to damage all the cables around: finally here is the auxiliary battery, fixed by a bracket, which we will remove; then disconnect the poles and remove it from its housing, replacing it with the new one. Put back all the fixings and the cover. Put back the carpet, put back the temperature sensor and the internal light. Replacing the partition, then the side sill. Put back the mat and then we can reconnect the 12 Volt battery.
