How do you replace the auxiliary battery of the Mercedes C-Class?

In order to replace the auxiliary battery of the Mercedes C-Class, you need to remove the carpet located under the glove compartment on the passenger side: once this is removed, you will be able to locate the underlying battery, which must be removed from its housing by disconnecting the cables and unscrewing the screws that secure it. After removing the old battery, you can insert the new one, connecting it properly and then covering everything with the corresponding carpet.
