Replacing Auxiliary Battery on Mercedes C-Class

Replace the auxiliary battery on a Mercedes C-Class. First, remove the passenger side mat. Disconnect the cover panel located at the bottom of the dashboard (right side under the glove compartment). Remove the cover cap that protects the auxiliary battery. Unscrew the battery terminal clamps, then remove the battery from its housing. Replace it with a new one (same voltage). Install the new battery inside the dashboard, tighten the power clamps, and close it with the plastic container. Reinstall the protective mat.
