Removing the External Rearview Mirror

This operation allows you to remove the cap of the external rearview mirror without having to completely disassemble it. The first step is to fold the rearview mirror in until it reaches the end of its travel and hold it in this position: at this point, you can see, near the aluminum support, the retaining hook of the cap. Using a medium-sized flathead screwdriver, pry to release the retaining spring (bayonet system).

Fold the mirror back and slide off the cap. Repeat the same operation for the other mirror if necessary.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins.
