How do you reset the Service indicator light on the Mercedes C-Class?

On the display of the Mercedes C-Class, the Service light that comes on can be reset by turning on the instrument panel by turning the key inside the corresponding ignition block: once the instrument panel is on, you can press the button on the left side of the panel to access the menu and then navigate inside it using the arrows on the left side of the steering wheel. You will then need to choose the "Service" option and then "Reset": this will bring up a confirmation message, to which you must respond with "Yes" in order to turn off the light completely.
