Complete Removal of the Centre Tunnel

Model: Mercedes Classe M W164 - Years 2005-2011
Part: Center console tunnel

Open the drawer and remove the ashtray. Using a plastic tool to avoid damaging the bodywork, lever at the base of the climate control panel and remove the panel, taking care with the electrical connections that must be removed carefully. Unscrew the screws from the ashtray compartment and gently pull out the complete console, lifting it to allow disconnection of the connectors located at the back. Still using a plastic tool, lever at the base of the tunnel above the gearbox to release the plastic clips of the cover and remove it by disconnecting the connectors. Remove the screws at the bottom of the tunnel and the glove compartment, then disconnect all connectors. Now it is possible to remove the entire tunnel.
