How to reassemble the mirror glass on the side mirror of a Mercedes Class W203

Model: Mercedes Classe C W203 - Years 2000-2007
Part: Side mirror

In this video we can see how to reassemble the mirror glass on the rearview mirror of a Mercedes C-Class W203 version: if it has fallen off or moved away from its housing, when we go to put it back in place, make sure that the electrical contacts are properly connected, and if not, reconnect them. There are contacts for movement and for defogging the mirror, so be careful. Secondly, we need to restore the spring that is located above the plastic cover of the mirror, and it should form an arch, positioning itself above the small lip that we see in the video. Now we place the flap that is located at the bottom inside the dome, then we will align the lip just above with the indentation of the base inside, gently push the glass inward to align the clips, then using a small screwdriver, push the adhesive arch inward so that it is also fixed upwards, and it works perfectly with the electrical controls.
