How do you reset the SRS anxiety in Mercedes cars?

Model: Mercedes Mercedes Various
Part: Checks and maintenance

Video tutorial

The SRS warning light refers to the entire circuit that controls the passive safety devices of Mercedes cars, such as airbags, pretensioners, and more. When it is illuminated on the dashboard, it means that one or more of the mentioned elements are not functioning, thus triggering an anomaly.

In the video shown here, for example, the problem is related to the sensor located under the passenger seat, which detects the presence of the passenger and activates the connected airbag in case of an accident. If it is instead a temporary anomaly due to a false contact, it is advisable to contact a workshop and use the appropriate diagnostic equipment.

How to Activate the Disabled TRC on the Toyota Yaris?

As the video clearly shows, disabling or activating the traction control (TRC or ESP) on the Toyota Yaris is very simple. By default, the traction system activates every time the vehicle is started. To disable it, simply press the button depicting a skidding car located in the centre of the vehicle where the controls are, such as the hazard lights and the radio, but near the handbrake. Once disabled, the TRC off light will illuminate on the dashboard. To reactivate it, just press the same button again.
