How do you remove the central tunnel of the Mercedes A-Class?

To remove the central tunnel of the Mercedes Classe A, you need to loosen the screws that secure the seats to their housing, so that they can be completely removed from their position: once these seats have been properly removed, it will be possible to detach the side panels of the tunnel to loosen the screws underneath. Then you can open the storage compartment and loosen its internal screws, then detach the trim around the gear lever and the one on the air conditioning panel: then you can insert the new replacement parts and reattach the tunnel.
