How to Remove the Instrument Panel Bulbs on a Mercedes SLK

How to remove the bulbs from the knobs on a Mercedes SLK? This operation is not too difficult. Here’s how to do it. Open the glove compartment above the central dashboard, unscrew the screws underneath it. Remove the radio using the removal keys. Unscrew the securing screws located at the sides of the central dashboard. Remove the trim of the air conditioning control panel with a screwdriver or plastic lever (prying). Extract the knobs from the instrument panel as shown in the video, being careful not to break the plastic locking tabs while prying. After removing the knobs from the panel, replace the bulbs or LEDs for the internal illumination.
