How to remove the instrument cluster on a Mercedes SLK? Start by prying off the lower plastic trims around the instrument cluster. Unscrew the screws located inside the plastics using a screwdriver. Also, unscrew the securing screws of the instrument cluster with the screwdriver; after removing the screws, pull the cluster out from the dashboard and disconnect the power cable located at the back of the instrument cluster. Install a new cluster or replace the LEDs/bulbs in the existing one and refit it. Finally, reverse the assembly steps.
