In this video, we see how to reset the SRS light on a Mercedes C-Class W203 version: the best solution to solve this problem is to use an OBD scanner. We can also use a cheaper scanner, as long as it is able to support Mercedes standards. Turn off the engine and instrument panel, and connect our scanner to the EOBD socket, then turn on the instrument panel, select the car from the scanner by verifying the VIN code, and finally look for error codes. If we know that there are no serious problems, we delete all error codes in order to reset the light. Turn off the instrument panel, restart, and check that the light has turned off. Another method is to disconnect the negative pole of the battery and wait 25/30 minutes. If this does not work, then we must check the seatbelt tensioners, connectors under the front seats, or the air conditioning system.
