How do you reset the automatic gearbox of the Mercedes C-Class?

To ensure that the automatic transmission installed on board the Mercedes C-Class will need to turn on the instrument panel by turning the key inside the corresponding ignition switch: once the instrument panel has been turned on, you will need to hold down the accelerator pedal for about twenty seconds. After this interval of time, it will be possible to release the accelerator pedal and turn off the instrument panel. Once this is turned on again, it will be possible to verify that the car's automatic transmission has been reset to the default settings.
