To reset the automatic transmission of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, turn on the ignition by rotating the key in the ignition switch. Once the dashboard lights up, press the accelerator pedal for about twenty seconds. After this time, release the accelerator pedal and turn off the ignition. When you turn the ignition back on, you can check that the automatic transmission has been successfully reset to the default settings.
