How to remove and install the airbag from a Mercedes C-Class

In this video, we will see how to remove and install the airbag on a Mercedes C-Class steering wheel. It is essential to disconnect the car's battery first. At the bottom of the steering wheel, we will find two round holes, one on the left and one on the right; insert the hook into one of the holes and point the tip of the hook towards us. Pull down with some determination: we will feel some resistance and a spring will activate the unlocking mechanism that holds the airbag. Repeat also with the other hole. Now the airbag is free, gently pull it towards us; disconnect the electrical connector of the airbag, and then the one of the horn. The installation is carried out in reverse: connect the horn connector and then the airbag connector; position the airbag correctly (the horn logo should be at the top); push firmly until you hear a clear and distinct "click" from both sides. This indicates that the hooks have closed correctly. We can reconnect the battery.
