How do you remove the steering wheel airbag of the Mercedes C-Class?

In order to remove the airbag from the steering wheel of the Mercedes C-Class, you need to loosen the screws that secure the airbag to its housing: these screws are located on the back of the steering wheel. Once the screws have been loosened, you can remove the airbag located in the center of the steering wheel by disconnecting the underlying connector: once the old airbag has been completely removed, you can insert the new replacement piece. You will need to secure it to its seat by connecting the connector and inserting the screws in the back of the steering wheel.
