How to replace the cabin air filter in a Mercedes A-Class? Follow these steps: Use a plastic trim tool to pry off the cover located at the bottom of the center tunnel (right side under the glove compartment). Get a screwdriver or cordless drill, and remove the screws securing the side cover of the tunnel. Remove the worn cabin air filter after taking out the cloth; insert a new cabin air filter, ensuring it fits snugly against the walls of the housing, reattach the filter housing cover, and tighten the screws (cover everything with the cloth placed under the dashboard). Check the proper installation of the previously mounted parts.
