To replace the cabin air filter on a Mercedes A-Class, the first step is to purchase a new pollen filter. Next, get inside the vehicle, turn off the engine, and engage the parking brake. The cabin air filter is located in the engine compartment, so after lifting the hood and securing it with the prop rod, remove the fasteners for the grille under the windshield and the fasteners for the wiper arms. Remove the filter element from its housing and install the new cabin air filter, following the directional arrows on the filter itself.
