How do you reset the service indicator on the Mercedes Class C?

The service indicator for the Mercedes C-Class can be reset directly by us drivers, as an alternative to what happens in the workshop using professional diagnostic equipment connected via cable to the vehicle. We have a tutorial video here that shows both how to turn off this indicator and what periodic and routine maintenance tasks need to be performed related to the service. The procedure is as follows: turn on the instrument panel, select the General Maintenance option, which can be found using the steering wheel's Arrow buttons, and then authorize the proposed Reset, thus also setting the next mileage deadline.
