In this tutorial, we will see how to replace the external wing mirror on a Mercedes SLK, a very simple and quick operation. First, open the door where you will be working, then using a plastic trim tool, remove both the indicated panel and the internal cover of the mirror. Next, disconnect the adjustment motor connector, unclip the cable from the support, and unscrew the three fixing bolts with a Torx T20 key. At this point, simply separate the mirror from the door and fit the replacement by following the reverse procedure.
