Here’s how to remove the external wing mirror on a Mercedes SLK. First, use a lever to remove the internal cover of the mirror (there are plastic clips); disconnect the power connector, then unscrew the fastening bolts (of the mirror) with the appropriate socket. Once the fastening bolts are removed: take out the mirror with the cables from the car door. For reassembly: fit the mirror with the bolts, connect the power cables, and refit the plastic cover onto the door panel. Finally, test the correct operation of the mirror.
