In the following guide dedicated to all of you who own a third series Mercedes Sprinter, we will explain the steps to safely replace the engine air filter. First, unlock the front bonnet opening from the appropriate lever located at the bottom of the dashboard. Next, lift the bonnet and position the safety support. Once this is done, locate the air filter box and unscrew all the various screws to remove both the tube connected to it and the protective cover. Finally, replace the old air filter with a new one.
