Where to Find the OBD Port on the Mercedes Vito

On the Mercedes Vito (all generations, including the W639), the OBD port with the 16-pin connector is located under the steering column, in the driver’s footwell area. So, get inside the cabin, close the door, and look under the steering wheel. The port is hidden behind a small plastic flap (which usually opens or slides away) or is visible but often slightly recessed. It is located slightly to the right of the brake pedal, towards the centre console. Some models have this plastic flap very well camouflaged, almost flush with the carpet. If you can't find it immediately, use a torch to search for it better.
