To reset the service light on a Mercedes GLK, it is necessary to close all doors and turn on the ignition without starting the engine, ensuring that the odometer is displayed. Using the controls on the steering wheel, select the Trip screen, then press and hold the call button and, within a second, also press the OK button, keeping both pressed for about five seconds. The workshop menu will appear: select ASSYST PLUS, then Full Service and confirm the operation. If prompted, choose the specific engine oil specification used (e.g., MB 229.5 or the corresponding one), confirm the reset again, and wait for the message indicating the service is complete. Finally, turn off the instrument cluster and turn it back on to check that the service light has been correctly reset.
